Ever since I was a child, I have continually looked for new adventures. Perhaps it developed during childhood? I lived in Texas, North Carolina, Kentucky, Michigan, Florida, Connecticut and West Virginia, all before the age of 18. I suppose somewhere in these moves, my gypsy heart was born.
After graduating, I continued with this lifestyle. Finally, at age 27, I married. We lived in the same area for years and I was happy exploring the world with my husband. A few times a year we would vacation. Then one day, the marriage ended.
I immediately moved to a new state. Shortly after that move I went to live in the south of France. I spent four years exploring France, Corsica, Spain, and Italy. During this time I was in search of the meaning of life: I have a blog about that experience (Onward Thru the Fog). It is still up, but I no longer write from there. However, if you are interested, you can find the link to the right of this page.
Skipping ahead, I am now back in the US. I recently bought a 23-foot RV, the perfect size for me and my fur baby, Bella. I am currently in the process of moving into it and we will begin our new adventures on April 1.
Oh, I also hope to begin a YouTube channel so that you can more easily follow along with Bella and me.
If you are curious to see how we will be downsizing, below is a video of our new home. Later, when I have the YouTube up and running, I will give you a more in-depth view of how we changed a few things, organized everything, and of course, where we are currently and where we are planning our next adventure.
Peace and love,
